My inspiration for documenting tomb stones with a camera comes from my good friend Bill Cribbs. Bill is an avid genealogy buff. So much so, that he operates several websites devoted to genealogy. I am able to document cemetery info because my occupation as a pressure vessel inspector requires me to travel throughout the USA. Using my camera to photograph tomb stones is the most accurate way I know of to document family information. My goal is to build a vast library of information to assist those who are researching their ancestry. I hope the information that I provide is helpful to you. Feel free to offer suggestions for making my site better. If you would like to request photos for a specific cemetery--I will try my best to take the photos. It all depends on where my job takes me.
